I’m a portrait photographer based in Southern New Hampshire, but long before photography became my business, it was simply something I loved.
When I was eight years old, my grandfather gifted me my very first digital camera. I had no idea then that something so small would become such a meaningful part of my life. I spent years photographing the people, places, and little moments around me, always drawn to the idea that a photograph could somehow hold onto a moment long after it had passed.
In 2017, I officially launched Emily Brock Photography, and since then, I’ve had the incredible privilege of documenting families and couples through some of the sweetest seasons of their lives.
And now, as a mother myself, I think I understand even more deeply why these photographs matter. Motherhood has changed the way I see everything. It has taught me how quickly the days move, how the little things become the things you miss the most, and how a seemingly ordinary moment can become a memory you would give anything to step back into.
The tiny hands wrapped around your finger. The way your baby fits perfectly against your chest. The toddler who won’t sit still but gives you the biggest hug when no one is expecting it. The way your children look at you. The way you and your partner look at each other in the middle of it all.
Those are the moments I want to preserve.
I’m not here to create a perfect version of your family. I want to photograph your family as you are right now. The connection, the laughter, the chaos, the tenderness, and all of the beautiful in-between moments that make this season yours.
You don’t need to know how to pose. Your kids don’t need to behave perfectly. And your session doesn’t need to go exactly as planned. I’ll guide you when you need it, but more than anything, I want you to slow down, be present, and love on your people.
Because someday, these photographs won’t just be pictures.
They’ll be the closest thing you have to stepping back into this season.
And it would be my absolute honor to preserve it for you.
